Description

This week, Alex Zandra, aka Zandravandra, joins TW on the show to talk about the very first games she made as a teenager in the 90s, The Quantum Blade 1 and 2! These games were featured in Kusogrande 6, but they were very much worth talking about more because they are an absolute CELEBRATION of mid-90s indie games.
So we get into talking the design ideas behind the game, the joy of starting and finishing a passion project regardless of quality, learning from mistakes, Final Fantasy MIDIs, and the state of the internet in the mid-90s (shoutouts to FFGaming, TW's long-dead Final Fantasy fansite with information that was just straight-up incorrect). Also Elden Ring.

Thanks to Zandra for being on the show and sharing in the love of these and her other creations! Check the links below to follow Zandra on Twitch and Twitter, check out her books, and play many of her games for yourself!
