Description

This week, John Romero doesn't make anybody anything, because Kemco made this game. Welcome to the little-known Game Boy Color version of Daikatana, a completely different game from its infamous original! This is a downright playable Zelda-like that tries really hard to pull off the convoluted story beats of the original game, to hilarious effect.
The North American release of Big Sword was cancelled, so we played the unreleased prototype version that Romero himself dumped the ROM of on his own website some 20+ years ago!

Also: We talk about how Discord got its name, the "Gaming Pentathlon," and a neat little meta touch to the opera scene in the Final Fantasy VI Pixel Remaster! And some other stuff, as usual, you know how it goes.
