The preseason is finally over! The Pittsburgh Penguins dismantled the Buffalo Sabres, 7-1 on Friday night to end the preseason as the regular season is only a few days away! Hunter goes into who stood out in this game and he has to start with Ty Smith. He marvels at how good he was with the puck and how he looked to be in rookie form in this one. He makes the argument that if the Penguins can get this level from Ty Smith during the season, they'll win the Marino trade. Oh yeah, if he's not in the top six to start the season, there's a BIG problem. He then looks at how well Jake Guentzel and Sidney Crosby played (water is wet) before addressing Danton Heinen's beautiful goal. He breaks it down and shows how flashy he is with the puck. Is he going to score 18-20 this season or will he be closer to 12-15? Hunter gives his prediction for that before going into POJ's performance. Was this his last gasp?
