Description

When people hear the name Green Bay, they probably imagine people in football jersies with large triangles of fake cheese atop their heads. The city is so much more than just a hub for football even though it is nicknamed "Titletown." This is a city influenced by many cultures from the early Native Americans that were here first to the French to the British to the Dutch to the Irish and to the Belgians. Their burial places and businesses and homes all seem to be touched by an essence of the supernatural. Join us as we explore the history and hauntings of Green Bay, Wisconsin. The Moment in Oddity was suggested by John Michaels and features cremains on the moon and This Month in History features the birth of Walter Reed.  Check out the website: http://historygoesbump.com   Show notes can be found here: https://historygoesbump.blogspot.com/2022/09/hgb-ep-454-haunted-green-bay.html     Become an Executive Producer: http://patreon.com/historygoesbump Music used in this episode:  Main Theme: Lurking in the Dark by Muse Music with Groove Studios (Moment in Oddity) Vanishing by Kevin MacLeod Link: https://incompetech.filmmusic.io/song/4578-vanishing License: https://filmmusic.io/standard-license (This Month in History) In Your Arms by Kevin MacLeod Link: https://incompetech.filmmusic.io/song/3906-in-your-arms License: https://filmmusic.io/standard-license Outro Music: Happy Fun Punk by Muse Music with Groove Studios And https://www.purple-planet.com/ Tap Room Rag
