Description

Another Thursday has landed on the calendars and that means the boys from the Real Life Podcast are back with a brand new episode to help you get you through what’s left of your week. Today, the boys were talking about carnival games at Nation HQ, the Oilers' loss to the Flyers, beer league stories, and a whole lot more. To kick off the Thursday episode of Real Life, the guys jumped in with a conversation about carnival games and specifically which one they would like to have in the office. With that nonsense out of the way, the conversation turned towards last night's loss to the Philadelphia Flyers and whether it's anything to be overly concerned about. Should we be worried about the goaltending? What about the defence? Changing gears, the guys got into a couple of beer league stories after Caroline Szwed inspired everyone with a call to action for stories about everyone's time in the rinks. Lastly, the guys wrapped up the Thursday episode of the podcast with a serious discussion about Kyle Beach's heartwrenching interview with Rick Westhead on TSN yesterday. Needless to say, the hockey world has a tonne of work to do to even begin to solve the horrific cultural issues it has hovering over it like a black cloud.  Hosted on Acast.
