Description

The Monogatari Series is one of my favourite anime of all time. But where did it all begin? In this episode, I formally start my journey into the anime. This week I tackle the first arc: Hitagi Crab. How does this arc comment on our inner thoughts? What exactly is the 'surrealist aesthetic' and how did Tatsuya Oishi & co's sequencing distance itself from anything else I've seen? On the side, I talk about the anime I have decided to watch for the Winter 2021. There's also a new intro too!
