Description

Door Bumper Clear returns from Bristol Motor Speedway after the NASCAR Cup Series Round of 16 cutoff race. Cup Series driver Justin Haley joins his spotter Brett Griffin, along with T.J. Majors and Freddie Kraft to talk about his 12th-place finish and working with Brett.
To start Spot On, Spot Off, NASCAR didn’t throw a caution for Brad Keselowski but threw one quickly for Christopher Bell late on Saturday night. T.J. breaks down what happened to the No. 6 car and why neither incident warranted a caution.
Next, the guys discuss Denny Hamlin’s tweet about needing an improved Next Gen car. Haley talks about how the rules limit teams being able to make improvements and how Kaulig Racing compares to bigger organizations personnel-wise. Hear whether the spotters agree with Hamlin and why the short track product is struggling.
Brandon Jones didn’t move Noah Gragson for the Xfinity Series win at Bristol, the week after announcing he’s taking over the No. 9 next season. Jones said that didn’t cross his mind once during the race and the crew reacts to the finish. They explain the points opportunity Jones missed and why he should have won the race.
Richard Childress Racing announced Kyle Busch to the No. 8 car next season and how they plan to run Tyler Reddick in a third charter next season. The guys theorize why RCR isn’t planning to have Reddick drive for them next year and what his 2023 may look like.
Finally, NASCAR released the 2023 Cup schedule eight weeks before the end of the season despite only making two track changes. Brett explains how this puts the teams' sponsorship discussions at a disadvantage and what other changes they would have liked to see.
In Reaction Theatre, fans call in about South Carolina losing to Georgia, celebrating Chris Buescher’s win and a song about Noah Gragson throwing up.
Later in the show, the gang makes playoff predictions for the Round of 12 in the Cup Series and why one driver stands out as the Xfinity Series title favorite.
