The Room holds a special place in many peoples' hearts, despite often being labelled as one of the worst movies ever made. The Disaster Artist is based on Greg Sestero's book of the same name, which is in turn based on his time working on The Room, and his friendship with writer/producer/director/actor Tommy Wiseau.
