It’s Friday afternoon and that means a brand new episode of Oilersnation Radio is here to help you finish off your week with an hour of all things Edmonton Oilers. On this week’s show, we looked at the Oilers’ defence holding together, Mikko Koskinen's revenge tour, previewed tonight's matchup against the Kraken, and a whole lot more. To kick off this week's podcast, we got started with a look at the Jake DeBrusk rumours that kicked off again this past week after he asked the Bruins for a fresh start somewhere else. Would it make sense for the Oilers to take on the hometown kid as a reclamation project? Personally, I don't think so. Sticking with potential trade targets, I asked the boys what kind of player the Oilers should look for right now in the trade market and whether or not that's actually a forward. Changing gears, we looked back at last weekend's Nation Viewing Party that went down at Campio last weekend and how amazing it was just to have everyone back in the same room together. Seeing as it's been nearly two years since we've been able to have an event, I also wanted to say a big thank you to everyone that attended the party and made the night so special. Getting back to the Oilers, we previewed tonight's matchup against the Seattle Kraken and wondered if the makeshift defensive group can keep it together once again.
