When it was released in 1980 it was met with mixed reviews and was not a financial success in the least. However, Father Time has been good to this Stanley Kubrick film. It's on many "best horror" lists including that of AFI's. John Mills, Shawn Eastridge, and Tristan Riddell meet up on this Filibuster to discuss this movie right in time for Halloween. Shawn and Tristan regard it as the masterpiece many believe it to be but John definitely has a differing opinion. What do you guys think of The Shining?
