This film is clearly an extended good bye to the friendship between Harry and Dumbledore, while also setting up the end game for the final battle between Voldermorts army and all that is good in the world. The theme of loss of innocence and not being able to trust anyone is present throughout this story as we explore Snapes journey from a outsiders perspective knowing his true intentions and the agreement he had with Dumbledore. We are also introduced to Dumbledore's old friend, Professor Slughorn, as his mind contains an important memory related to Tom Riddle's earliest sinister creation of the horcrux's.
