Description

Three entire decades, and then some. The music of Fear Factory is considered by many around the world as a stepping-stone in heavy metal music. Whether it's about the writing getting easier or the pressure of so many great records making it harder – to guitarist Dino Cazares, this new chapter in his storied career is exactly what he was looking for. Being the last original member left in the current band's lineup, Dino talks about the highs and lows in his musical and personal journey that got him to this point in his life, and he could not be more grateful. Being that this is the 30th anniversary of the band, putting out the new and upcoming 10th album “Aggression Continuum” can serve as an example of where the band is headed from this point on. The heavy industrial trademark sound and the themes of a dystopian post-apocalyptic future have been successful ingredients in manifesting their music, and we get the chance to ask Dino about the creative in-depth storytelling within Fear Factory's identity. It's an identity that most people at this point recognize, and Fear Factory is damn good at refining their own craft over the years. 10 albums in 30 years is not an easy feat for anyone to do, and yet here they are. Dino, along with his bandmates Tony Campos (bassist) and Mike Heller (drums) are excited for their own future as they are counting down the days on a new vocalist joining the band, and once the new album is unleashed - things will only get more exciting for Fear Factory is this new chapter unfolds. Join us in this episode with Dino and be sure to buy and stream their new album “Aggression Continuum,” due out June 18 via Nuclear Blast Records.Stay connected with Fear Factory, visit: https://fearfactory.com/, https://www.facebook.com/fearfactory and https://www.instagram.com/fearfactory/Stay connected with IUF, visit: https://interviewunderfire.com/
