Description

The Hurricanes were sluggish. Less than 24 hours after an emotional win in Pittsburgh, the Canes came out flat against a Philadelphia team that is buried in the standings. And, while Carolina never trailed in the game, they weren't exactly on top of their game. Still, thanks to 38 saves from first star Frederik Andersen, when Brett Pesce buried a Vincent Trocheck pass in OT the Hurricanes skated away with a 4-3 win.
