He earned his bachelor’s degree in Bioengineering from the University of Toledo and master’s degree and PhD in biomedical engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He performed post-doctoral research at the University of Michigan. King helped develop regenerative medicine devices at Biomet/Zimmer Biomet before becoming clinical and research and development director for Owl Manor, a medical device company owned by Zoetis.
