Van Dine in the 1920s and 1930s, the radio adventures of Detective Philo Vance were first broadcast to listeners across the airwaves in 1945. Did you know that three radio drama series were created with Philo Vance as the title character? The first series, broadcast by NBC, starred José Ferrer.
