He's been healed, and although there are holes left in his memory, we see him recollect a full page of memories from the Trolloc Wars – Aemon's Last stand, the battle that marked the death of ancient Manetheren, but saved a tiny remnant of it's people, Mat's own ancestors. We talk about the Old Blood connection, how some of Mat's memories are his own from his current life, his own from past lives, and the memories he gains from other people's past lives later.
