Egwene is lead to her rooms in the novice quarters of the White Tower. A room she will share with Elayne Trakand. Elayne talks about how few novices there are, and asks about Rand. We talk about how the population of channelers has slowly been culled since the breaking of the world. By chance on their way to meet Min, the ladies run into a gentled Logain wandering the halls of the Tower, casually talking about suicide. Min also asks after Rand. She has a few viewings, and we explain them one by one. Gawyn and Galad run into the young women, and Galad is clearly interested in Egwene, but she's to starry eyed to notice anything, including Gawyn.
