This episode features Adama Bah, a community activist in New York working daily to help immigrants facing deportation. One of the defining moments of Adama's life was during her teenage years, the FBI came into her house and took her dad away. In addition to having to step in, be the main earner of the household, and taking care of her siblings, she also had t fight stigma within her own community. Today, she sees her experience as empowering and shares her story globally to inspire people.
