Utah Football came into 2022 with their highest-ever preseason ranking and aspirations of reaching the College Football Playoff, something the Pac-12 has been left out of since 2017 when Washington made it under Chris Petersen. Now that the Utes have begun 0-1 losing to previously unranked Florida, the path to the Pac-12 having one of the final 4 teams at the end of the year seem even less likely. Does any hope remain for a Pac-12 team to reach the playoff this year?

They go through possible scenarios that could see a Pac-12 team return to the playoff, which is not out of the realm of possibility for the Utah Utes.
