In addition to practicing clinical dental hygiene, Melissa serves as Lead Clinical Representative for Young Dental for the Southwest United States.   She has served on numerous leadership positions for both the Texas Dental Hygienists’ Association and the Dallas Dental Hygienists’ Society.   Melissa has served as a mentor for the mentoring program to Caruth Dental Hygiene students for many years.  She attributes her professional growth to the numerous mentors that have guided and encouraged her. She currently practices clinically in downtown Chicago and serves as the North Central Lead Clinical Representative for Young Dental.
