Description

It’s the end of an era for Denver — Rocky’s Autos has closed its doors for good after 40 years. So, the north Federal staple is out of the car game — but the thing we’ll miss the most? The dealership’s crazy TV commercials featuring the adventures of Audra, Officer Odell, and of course, The Shagman. After we heard the news about Rocky’s going dark, we called up Ron Vigil — the Shakespearean actor behind the infamous Shagman — to get his final thoughts on playing a uniquely Denver-famous character for more than two decades.

Keep up with The Shagman’s shenanigans on Instagram or check out his production company.

Bree mentioned a previous City Cast Denver episode with reporter Yesenia Robles about the Adams 14 school district drama.
