It’s weird exactly who is and isn’t worthy to lift Mjolnir. In the comics, Captain America can and has lifted it.
In the movie, the Avengers did not time travel. They travelled to different timelines (multiverses). The multiverse is much better fleshed out now than when Endgame came out. In the comics, time travel is far easier and messier. There’s just a lot going on with Time Travel/Multiple universes in this movie.

The ending of the Infinity Saga is nothing how it was in the comics. It’s completely different. The only thing that is even remotely close is Captain America’s last stand.
