Our guest today is Amy Rigby. Amy is a singer/songwriter who performed in such bands as The Last Roundup and The Shams. Her 1996 solo debut, Diary of a Mod Housewife, led to her being named "Songwriter of the Year" by Spin magazine. She's the author of the 2019 memoir, Girl to City, which traces her journey from Elton John-worshipping suburban Pittsburgh girl to punk rock-loving CBGB denizen, and beyond.
