Marlee Delia and Anna Mavromati are the co-founders of Shine On Collective, the LA immersive theatre company that made its name creating intimate horror experiences with a strong audio signature. Like so many others in the pandemic, Shine On had to pivot if they wanted to keep producing, and what that landed on came as a surprise. Their first quarantine experience was Welcome Home, a boxed mystery that came with a delivery/take-out meal in LA and is now shipping as a mystery in a box with a dessert nationwide. They followed it up with The Rouguelike Presents: The Spirits of Tillinghast, the inaugural offering from Burbank's The Roguelike Tavern, a bar owned and operated by LA immersive theatre veteran John McCormick. We talk with Delia and Mavromati about finding new ways to tell immersive stories in the real world after all the rules changed.
