Description
Eyeball Records is an independent record label originally established in NYC out of Apartment 4C on 14th St at Avenue A. The label later moved to Kearny, New Jersey. They’ve released albums by artists such as H20, Thursday, My Chemical Romance, Humble Beginnings, Pency Prep, and Murder by Death. In 2020 the label began releasing exclusive cassette and t-shirt bundles exclusively through The Hyv. I heard about Eyeball for the first time when Humble put out their EP which we talk about in this interview. So I thought getting Alex on here would be a fine idea, he agree, and this is what we chat about: Eyeball starting back up Internal fuck ups on some releases Recording at the studio where Tupac was shot Getting help from Greg GoKart Records The Eyeball house How the H20 release was funded The aggressive lore that surrounded him Humble Beginnings Becoming homeless His relationship with Warner Bros The Gaslight Anthem record that never saw the light of day And a ton more Go check out their website for the latest releases at eyeballrecords.org. Check out my new book The Couples' Checklist for my webcomic dailyBred. It's a great gift for Valentine's Day. I also have an Instagram for it. If you market aggressively on Instagram Stories and want custom stickers then go here to get custom stickers or just email mike@drive80.com and I can send you samples.
