In our first hour today we were joined by Mark Uyl, the Executive Director of the Michigan High School Athletic Association. Mark updated us on everything that’s happened within the past 24 hours regarding the 3 week shutdown and its relationship to the pause of High School sports. Mark discussed how he and his team plan to handle this, in hopes of saving the remaining Fall High School Championships.
In our second hour of the show, Huge kept the conversation rolling in regards to his conversation with Mark Uyl about the recent statewide shutdown. He discussed how all of this is very difficult on all of us – but how difficult it has to be on the children that are going through this as well. We then went on to talk about that horrible Wolverine to Wisconsin on Saturday. We were joined by Chris Balas to break it all down and to look ahead to what’s next for Harbaugh and his Wolverines.
In our final hour, we wanted to talk about the ONLY win for the state of Michigan this weekend – your Detroit Lions over the Washington Football Team. We were joined by Mike O’Hara so he and Huge could talk about the good and bad from yesterday’s games and to also take a look ahead at the Lions schedule to get a feel of how the rest of the season could look – and to see if we could potentially get a wild card spot. We were then joined by Jim Comparoni to get his thoughts on the Spartans loss to Iowa on Saturday. We wrapped up the show with our PGA Insider Mark Wilson to talk about Dustin Johnson winning the Masters over the weekend.
