The drama with the B10 continues as the Nebraska University President was heard on a hot mic saying that they’ll be making an announcement about the B10 coming back for play this fall. This was our main focus of the show for the first couple hours of the show. We were joined by Graham Couch in our first hour to get his thoughts on whether or not this is really the right time to be announcing this – given that there have been some Covid spikes on some of the college campuses; this week especially. But, hopefully we will learn even more tonight about a possible season for U-M and MSU which would consist of 8 games up until a college football playoff.
We continued to talk about the B10 and how they will hopefully be making an announcement tonight. Huge made a great point that it seems like College Basketball has a better plan than Football does at this point. So, we were joined by Matt Charboneau to get his take on all of this. He and Huge also had a great back and forth about the B10 and about all of the drama that’s happened recently. We were then joined by Tim Staudt out of Lansing to get his take on all of this as well. Tim told us how confident he feels that the B10 will come back for a shortened season and he also made some great points saying that if it is actually is going to happen “it needs to be done right.”
The conversation kept rolling along in our final hour regarding the B10 and their decision to bring football back in October. We got a U-M perspective from our friend Chris Balas in this hour today. We then moved on to talk a little about the Detroit Lions taking on the Packers this weekend. We were joined by Logan Lamorandier to get his thoughts on how that game could look. Tom Rosenbach from BeeneGarter also came on the show to let Bill know how his picks were from last weeks “Beat Huge” contest. Tim McCullough from the Soaring Eagle Casino & Resort also came on the show for our last segment today.
