Description

Bill opened the show today by discussing the Lions releasing Harrison last night. He asked the audience what the Lions have done in the off-season to impress you. He also talked about the draft and what the top picks will be in the first few rounds. We then moved on to talk about the Wolverine basketball team with Chris Balas. They broke down the Purdue/U-M game coming up over the weekend. Bill also talked about a video that went viral of a pole-vaulter having something rather unfortunate happen to him…It’s not pretty.
The second hour focused heavily on MSU and U-M basketball. Jim Comparoni joined us at the top of the hour to discuss the game against the Huskers last night, and he also gave us more details on some of the big hires Mel Tucker has made over the past few days. Then the voice of Wolverine basketball joined us, Brian Boesch, to discuss the next couple games for U-M. We also continued the conversation on the Lions releasing Harrison, as well as what they’re doing in the off-season to get ready for next season.
In the final hour we were joined by Mike O’Hara as we kept the discussion going regarding the Lions and what moves they’ve been making recently – in hopes of setting themselves up for a better season. They also brought up the collective bargaining agreement from the NFL in hopes of approving a new playoff schedule. Then we moved on to talk a little more about Wolverine basketball under Juwan Howard and how they’ve been doing as well as where we see them going next.
