Description

When sipping cocktails, sometmes you'll notice a little more booze, pending how much the bartender put in there. But when it comes to flavor and balance, how much does proof matter? Author of the upcoming book, "Bourbon is My Comfort Food ," Heather Wibbels joins the show and makes one of my favorite cocktails--The Black Manhattan. And you can try this, too, just use the bourbons below and the recipe to find out!

The Fred Minnick Show features spirits author, historian and curator Fred Minnick, who interviews musicians and pairs whiskeys to their palates. Through the journey, the artists open up to Minnick about life tribulations, what it's like on the road and their favorite foods. Really, it's just two people tasting and talking.
