Here we are on the 4th of July approaching the All Star Break, and the Angels find themselves 12 games out of a playoff spot, with no real path to contention in sight, especially ahead of the trade deadline. Unfortunately, with the way this roster is constructed, there also is no real path to selling this season and retooling for 2019 due to the lack of appealing assets.
