In the first hour of the show today, Bill along with listeners discussed some recent news out of Virginia regarding High School football. Schools are apparently struggling to get enough students together to have a decent football program. We questioned whether it might have something to do with lack of interest due to other outside factors such as video games, fear of getting hurt, etc. Tim Twentyman also joined in this hour to discuss tomorrows Lions pre-season game. Sean Baligian also joined in this hour to discuss tomorrows Lions pre-season game. 
In the final hour of the show, we replayed the interview with David Warsen Sr. whose son passed away 6 years ago today paying the ultimate sacrifice for his country. It was great to reflect on the people who have truly made a difference for our country. We wrapped up the show by discussing the passing of Aretha Franklin and also playing her rendition of the National Anthem from the Lions Thanksgiving game last year.
