We discuss they obvious reasons as to why that might not be a good idea, but also that without any films to show, being allowed to open doesn't really change much of the outlook for theater owners. There's also news of Judd Apatow's The King of Staten Island, starring Pete Davidson, now heading straight for VOD. It was also announced that Seth Rogan has a new movie headed to HBO Max next month called An American Pickle where an immigrant worker (Rogan) is accidentally brined and preserved, quite like a pickle, for 100 years, and returns in present day New York un-aged. This week's BlendGame is in honor of the thing we all miss most, going to an actual movie theater.
