In this episode you will hear:   Mark and Vince discuss two different articles that appeared in the LA Times that address the number of students at the nine University of California schools. Both articles were written by Teresa Watanabe. The first article Mark and Vince discuss is that UC’s break a record for the most California students that have been admitted but they intentionally have cutback on the number of of out of state students. Mark and Vince talk about why the UC’s are talking less out of state students; is this a good or bad thing? This article was written on August 10th, 2022   (32:00) Next Vince and Mark discuss a July 23rd article by Terese Watanabe entitled, “Under Big Admissions demand, UC Aims to Grow by 33,000 seats”  Vince and Mark talk about the pros and cons of the UC’s adding this many students.
