Jim Jordan has built a career at the highest levels of professional motorsports in north America. He has worked with professional sports car racers like Joe Foster, celebrities like Patrick Dempsey and vehicle manufacturers like Mazda yet he recreates by organizing clandestine and very unprofessional timed automotive events in Baja. Once a year he and his family & friends embark on an adventure they organize and call the Carrera Baja Americana. In cars that cost no more than a cross country plane ticket they make a gentlemen’s bet to see who can drive from the top to the tip of the Baja peninsula the quickest. Rest assured all Mexican traffic laws are followed and no good taco stand is passed by during this extravaganza.
