When I tell people that I have befriended aliens, they don’t ask where they’re from or what they look like but rather, “How did you get past the intense fear?”While I was struggling with fear, I frequently asked the aliens their names in a feeble attempt to make them seem more humanized, to grasp onto something familiar in a non-human environment. Their answer was always the same – “Names are not important. The message is what’s important.” Translating their message from an alien concept to a human one is the job they have placed before me. I want others to know that these Beings are benevolent and helpful, and that they are trying to understand us as much as we are trying to understand them.
