Did you read Heavy Metal Magazine growing up?This story manages to flesh Taarna out while still leaving parts of her history to the imagination. How do you accomplish this balancing act?The original Heavy Metal film - particularly the Taarna segment - is filled with both epic needle drops and an incredible Elmer Bernstein score. Do you listen to anything while you write Taarna, and would you recommend any albums or artists for readers to crank up while they read?This series has a rotating group of artists.
