She is also an Associate Professor in the University of British Columbia or UBC School of Population & Public Health. Sarah Henderson started her career as an environmental engineer (Bachelor of Science, UBC, 2000), working on pollution abatement and control. She switched her focus to environmental epidemiology (PhD, UBC, 2009) when she first became interested in the public health consequences of engineering decisions.
