Giants appear in the folklore of cultures worldwide as they represent a relatively simple concept, as giants evoke terror and remind humans of their body's frailty and mortality. Often being portrayed as monsters and antagonists, with the exceptions of some who intermingle with humans in a friendly way and even become part of human families with their offspring being portrayed as regular humans. Over the course of this series, we will try to uncover whether giants might in fact roamed the Earth a long time ago, or if they in fact still roam the Earth today, as we dive elbow deep into the legends and science of these Giant Humanoids.
