All bundled up in my hotel, I met up with one of my favorite students in the world -- Kim Kim. Kim and I go WAY back. I used to teach her back at my old job in the outskirts of Bangkok, and I was the driving force to get her away from the Thai school system and to Singapore, a place where she's living currently.  At the age of 16, Kim Kim carries herself like a late 20s professional, and her accent is better than practically every Singaporean accent I had come across today.  In this 24-hour layover, I had to meet up with her to see how things are going....and here's her English language learning story, adapting to Singaporean life, and what's next.
