Description

On the 14th March 1922, in a small ground-floor lodging at the back of 168 Hampstead Road, a baby girl was born. Conceived in secret by a young couple - 21-year-old Harry Gimber and 23-year-old Alice Crabbe - they hadn;t been able to abort it, the couldn't afford to keep, so having ran out of options, they decided to "abandon it".One week later, the body of a new born baby was found in Enfield, but with no way to identify Harry & Alice as the parents, its disposal should have remained a secret. So, what went wrong?Murder Mile is researched, written and performed by Michael J Buchanan-Dunne of Murder Mile Walks with the main musical themes written and performed by Erik Stein and Jon Boux of Cult With No Name with additional music, as used under the Creative Commons License 4.0 (Attribution) via Free Music Archive and YouTube Music. A full listing of tracks used and a full transcript for each episode is listed here and a legal disclaimer.Click here for NEW MUGS - or to access the YOUTUBE CLIPSFOLLOW US HERE:FacebookTwitterInstagramMurder Mile Discussion GroupYoutubeSupport this show http://supporter.acast.com/murdermile.
