This week Chase meets up with his friend Guillermo for an informal chat and a Cerveza, in our second edition of About Abroad Happy Hours. Happy Hours are casual in-person conversations, done outside the studio, with fellow friends and expats - perhaps over a coffee over an adult beverage. In this episode, Guillermo walks us through his experience making the move to Australia, where he spent six years leveraging the friendly system set up for foreigners who want to call this paradise their home. He shares some of the highs and lows, how he managed to find a job despite the fact that he didn’t speak English, and ultimately offers advice for those that want to make the move down under.
