Dave and Justin discuss The Last Mercenary, the #1 show on Netflix this week. Here’s the official synopsis: A former secret service agent returns to France to help his son get out of trouble. Moraig MacGillivray joins the lads to discuss this new Jean-Claude Van Damme vehicle. Moraig provides a fantastic explanation as to why all Hollywood on-screen fight scenes are utter nonsense. Dave (generously) suspects that most of the charm and comedy of the film was literally lost in translation. Justin was so confused by what was happening that he admits to fast-forwarding through some of the film out of spite.
