After being put in by SL, Netherlands made the worst possible start as competition leading run scorer Max O’Dowd was run out in the 1st over. At the end of the powerplay, they had slumped to 37/6 and then to 44 all out in 10 overs. Spin twins mesmerised the Dutch batters with Hasaranga taking 3/9 off 3 and Maheesh Theekshana 2/3 off his solo over, he left the field with an injury. Hopefully he’s fit to return in the Super 12.
