On October 1, 2017, a lone gunman opened fire into the Route 91 Harvest Music Festival in Las Vegas. The incident remains the deadliest mass shooting in U.S. history.But out of this tragedy comes a story of true heroism. When Iraq War veteran Taylor Winston heard the first shots, he sprang into action. He grabbed a truck and began to shuttle wounded concert attendees back and forth from the scene to a nearby hospital.
