Emily DeFries was convicted of murdering her fiances 22 month old daughter, Anna Bell. Emily, Anna Bell, and her other 8 year old stepdaughter were home alone, when Emily made a call to the police saying that she found Anna Bell lying at the bottom of the staircase. The child's cause of death was blunt force trauma to the skull.
