In 6th grade, OP called her mom to let her know her dad was about to head her way to drop her little sister and her off. Her mom on the other end of the line sounded frantic and surprised that she was talking to her over the phone. OP wasn’t sure what the fuss was about, but after hanging up she later learned that she had accidentally dialed the wrong number of a woman whose daughter of the same name had gone missing.
