There have been some rumours surrounding Patrick Kane's future with the Chicago Blackhawks including some rumblings of potential trade destinations. Mike DiStefano and David Morassutti break it all down but first they bring up Phil Kessel signing with the Vegas Golden Knights and why it looks like a great fit for both sides while also allowing him the chance to get into the NHL record books (8:40). 
They move on to Frank Seravalli's report about Patrick Kane and when we could potentially expect his time with the Blackhawks to come to an end (13:58). Before they do, they look at Paul Bissonnette's comments on the rumours and why he feels like the Leafs are in a position to make a deal for the star forward (16:20). While it's tough to imagine the possibility of a deal involving the Leafs for Kane, Mike and Dave explain how it could happen (20:55). 
NHL deputy commissioner Bill Daly made it a point to bring up the potential return of the World Cup of Hockey and when it could happen (31:20). Mike and Dave bring up some of the issues that would need to get sorted out especially when it comes to having enough countries involved (34:00). Then to end the show, Mike and Dave quickly touch on Mike Babcock leaving the University of Saskatchewan and whether this could put him back on the radar for an NHL job again (39:27).
