As a child, Dale Earnhardt dreamed of following in his father's footsteps and becoming a race car driver. It was an extremely difficult road with many setbacks with extreme odds against him. Miraculously, the native of Kannapolis, N.C. went on to win seven Cup Series titles as well as 76-races during his incredible career.
