In August 2014, Deborah Blyth became the state’s new CISO, bringing a diverse 25-year technology background including 14 years of information security experience. As the CISO, she serves as the point of contact for all information security initiatives in Colorado, informing the Secretary of Technology & Chief Information Officer and executive agency leadership on security risks and impacts of policy and management decisions on IT-related initiatives.
Before joining the state of Colorado, Deborah led the Information Technology Security and Compliance programs at TeleTech and Travelport. Deborah is a Colorado native and graduated Summa cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science degree from Regis University.
