Former San Francisco Giant and Montreal Expo, Kirk Rueter, spoke about his upbringing in Hoyleton, Illinois and blossoming into a successful starting pitcher in the big leagues. Kirk, also known as ‘Woody’ shared the story of how he received his much popular nickname in San Francisco and reminisced on the 2002 World Series. Kirk also gave some insight on what it was like to be a part of the epic Barry Bonds home run chase and filled us in on some of the memorabilia he keeps in ‘The Shed’ from his career.
